Costs related with Quit Claim Deed

My parents have a house and we would like to do a quit claim deed to have that in my name.

Is that the best choise to have the house transfered to myself?

What are the costs involved in this kind of process?

Regards

Quitclaim deed is a good option to transfer the property in your name. If the property is free and clear, then you will be able to use a warranty deed as well to get it transferred in your name. A real estate attorney will let you know what type of costs are involved in this process.

You can take legal help of a mortgage attorney in order to know about the exact prices involved. It may vary.
