How to removed late wife from property deed?

My wife passed away in 2005. Her name is on the deed to the property. I would like to have it removed and only have the deed in my name. My current mortgage is under my name only, however, my home owners insurance is listed under both of our names as they are stated on the deed. How do I remove it.
