Statute of Limitations on a Quit Claim Deed

Statute of Limitations on a Quit Claim Deed

Hello... I did a quitclaim deed in CT June 24th 2012 with a parent with whom I live in order to qualify for a home refinance loan which we closed on a couple of weeks ago. The original quitclaim deed done in 2012 was done in order to put me on the deed so we would qualify for the loan. It was done as Joint Tenants. The lawyer who did the closing suggested we execute a new quitclaim deed with right of survivorship in order to protect our interest in the property should something happen to one of us. Can anyone contest this new deed and what are the statute of limitations should someone want to contest it. Thank you !!!

Anyone can contest the deed. But if everything on the deed is correct and if no illegal means have been used, then the contest won't hold any value. Well, I haven't heard of any statute of limitations in this regard.
