can a quit claim deed override a judgement

my brother was in a accident in my mothers car. The plantiff filled 23 months later right before the two year limitation of suing was over. At the 13 month mark, my brother completed a quit claim deed, as he was sick and in a nursing home and not proving anything towards the home and was given maybe 2-3 years left to live.   Aout two years later I was issued a request for entry of default. We were unware that there was a case and date assigned until after the court date. My brother is now dead Can a judgement or deed stil be connected to the home, eventhough his name in not listed on the loan, as my mother died, and it is is worded in the trust, but the bank has the loan onky in my moms name The deed is in my trust name. What is my next step. I am not looking to selling the house untl house regains its value.  Can anyone come after the house when it is not in another person (son) name on deed and is in the living trust.
