Closing error and correction

Built home in 2000. Refinanced in 2002. In approx. 2008, I (wife) called mortgage company with insurance question. Was told I was not on loan and needed "permission slip" signed by husband to deal with mortgage company. Continued to and through modification in 2014. In 2015, get letter form atty. asking me to sign and have my name taken off deed. Deed still in BOTH names. Said NO - create new loan and I will sign. Now mortgage company asks county court to put my name on loan. Does court have jurisdiction to add my name to the loan?
