Do the new Cal. Laws (Bill 94) banning upfront fees also apply to Principle

Do the new Cal. Laws (Bill 94) banning upfront fees also apply to Principle Reduction (supposedly approved) Services? Was told approved by need to pay $3,800 to execute and deliver the new principle reduction loan/arrangement? That will apparently require an Attorney? Not sure how the reply works... here is my email cmayala58@yahoo.com

Hi Guest,

As far as I know, any kind of upfront fees in regards to loan modification have been banned. This is same in case of principal reduction as well.
