Hey George - I stumbled upon one of your articles and was hoping you might offer some insight on my own issues. I have two adjacent commercial properties in Radnor, PA. I want to install a covered walkway between two buildings (one on each property) and have taking it to the local Zoning Board. The Zoning Board has conditionally-approved the walkway, provided I merge the two properties into one. Note: There are no mortgages on either property, they are owned outright.. My question is whether or not a transfer tax will be imposed if I consolidate the deeds..?
