How can I find who has a lien on me

My wife and me were ready to close on a new home, the title company informed us that I have an abstract judgement against me. I want to resolve this matter. I've been to the courts found out who it is, and that's it. The attorney on file says he sold it to someone else and all he has is a bad phone number.I've exhausted all avenues. What can I do to resolve this matter. The land we are using i in my wifes' name, but she doesn't have enough income to purchase the home alone.
