I refianced home in 03 from fha to conventional with cash out, I filed bank

I refianced home in 03 from fha to conventional with cash out, I filed bankrupsy (chap 13) in 05 and was released June of 09. My credit is above 700, my interest is 9.65 with no escrow account. Two mortgage companies have told me I have to wait until June of 2013. Is there not solution to this problem in Texas???? Please help and advise before my kid has to drop out of college!!!!

Hi Guest,

After a bankruptcy discharge, you will have to wait for 3-4 years in order to qualify for a mortgage. None of the lenders will offer you a loan before that period is over.

Thanks
