My husband and I would like to get back into a va loan for out next home purchase but the lenders seem to be pushing conventional loans why?

VA loans are backed by Federal law & only given to millitary personnel. do your husband is an ex-veteran? If yes, you should surely go for it. Actually VA loans have less criteria than conventional loans like in case of credit score , closing cost or late payments etc. On the other hand the conventional loan has much stricter requirements. That's why it is much preffered by the lenders as the risk factor is less for them.
