Susanne: Susan you obviously aren't aware of the entire situation here. My husband committed mortgage fraud on the 2nd mortgage and on a 1st new mortgage on our home in another state, by falsifying documents. There is also possible collusion on part of the loan officer. How can the mortgage company foreclose on a loan they and my husand are under investigation for? I will pay the 1st mortgage, not the equity line that I had nothing to do with. I filed for divorce and discovered these docs in lock box, after cutting the lock!

Hi Guest,

If the mortgage lender is under investigation, then chances are less that he will be able to foreclose the property.
