can lender reject quit claim deed and get mortgage payments from affluent debtor?

I sold property to X. X now wants to give me a quitclaim deed. I do not want the property back.I hae rejected the quitclaimdeed. Buyer owes me a large amount of mortgage payements. Buyer is well off and can pay the mortgage payments. Can I insist on payment if I refuse to take the property back?

Sure but if he doesnt pay you will have to foreclose - that costs and in the end you will end up with the house back   You could take it back and then take him to court for breech of contract (if in fact he did something wrong)    Good Luck   Brian Barnes Nationwide Mortgage - glad to help Brian@AimWithFocus.com

To get the buyer should your mortgage burden, you'll have to refinance the mortgage loan in both of your name. As for the buyer's rights, you'll have to continue making the mortgage payments. Consult an attorney and send a legal notice of payment default.
