i am retiring from the military can i still buy a home

I have been in the military for 20 years and now I will be retiring. I will have a Government job at the end of my military retirement. I am wanting to buy now and I would like to know my reakistic options.

I think you should lookout for VA loan. As an veteran it will be the best option for you. There are several benefits of VA loans which you may like to consider..like :  a) No Down Payment at all. b) No PMI. c)  Competitive Interest Rates d)  Basic Allowance for Housing e)  Pre-Payment Penalty is nil f)  Refinance up to 120% of your home’s value...etc. Hope that helps :)
