renter on forclosed property that wasnt aware of a friend whom was trying to help me out being a single mother of 2kids (one whose 10mo baby)...so around xmas i found out & a REO specialist tells me not to worry at the time they will provide notice & also help w moving assistance. Well ive heard nothing till now & im not sure what to reply w in the 10 days stated in order to get the 90day notice to leave & im terrified im going to get shoved out w my babies on the street if immediately evicted or the 3day notice...its very confusing & ive never been in this scenerio.......can anyone help me w my options in handling this matter. i live in florida, tampabay area, i have no lease agreement, i paid cash (i know dumb) on what would be a qaurterly payment...he has helped me & hasnt received any payment since it forclosed. does it matter that i know him somewhat thru another friend.......??? Hi, yes i just received ALTERNATIVE NOTICE OF IMMINENT EVICTION AND TENANT'S FEDERAL RIGHTS in the mail on the property im living at, it states around sept, 2010 it was forclosed on w Cert. of Sale havin been issued. Also states about PTFA & the 90 day notice to vacate. **Currently they dont have evidence that any occupant is bona fide protected by PTFA unless evidence acceptable to LENDER of such is produced ""WITHIN TEN (10) DAYS""..of service of this Notice, eviction process will be commenced & locked out as quick as law permits. ------this was sent by a law firm saying must contact asap if to claim PTFA.. ...Provide: A. copy of lease If you have one (i do not) B. return # & hours to be reached

You should contact a real estate attorney and check out what he has to say in this matter. After that you can contact the lender and discuss your situation and ask him to allow you to stay as a renter in the property. You can even try striking an agreement with the lender so that you can rent the property even after foreclosure.
