The house is in my deceased mother's name. How do I get it in my name now?

Was it in a living trust - was there a will>
If there was a will that says it is to go to him he should be able to do some paperwork and walk it through court without an atty (Nolo books has some good info on how to do this)
If it was in a living will I believe it is an easier process
as always consult a legal expert to be safe at least for a consult
