What are the chances of a bank seeking a deficiency in the state of Alabama?

Is this common practice for a sub-100k house?

Hi Guest!

Welcome to forums!

In Alabama, the lenders have the rights to sue you for the deficient amount. If you cannot pay off the balance dues, he might sell off the account to a collection agency who can in turn harass you for payments.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
