If my house is sold at auction, how long can we stay in the house during the redemption period. Or when do we have to be out after the foreclosure sale? Our home is in Alabama

The lender will send you an eviction notice in order to leave the property after foreclosure sale. You'll have to leave the property within a stipulated time period as mentioned in the eviction notice. However, the eviction will not start until the redemption period has expired.
