I live in Alabama. My home is being foreclosed on and I know that there is a right of redemption law for 1 year. Am I able to stay in my home for that year while trying to redeem It?

Do I get to reside in my home while trying to find someone to buy it, or try to buy it myself.

Hi troybrannonband!

Welcome to forums!

As far as I know, you'll be able to stay in your home and try to redeem your property after the foreclosure. You'll have to pay off the past dues as well as the late fees and other associated charges in order to redeem the property.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
