I already purchased a foreclosed property in Alabama. It also has a tax lien attached to it. The right of redemption is good for 365 days and will end in July, 2011.

My question is how can i KEEP the property? I know I will be repaid my initial investment and most expenses plus 6% interest but do not want that. I wanna keep the house, how can I secure it? Any way at all?

Hi Guest,

If the original borrower does not redeem the property within July, 2011, you won't have to worry about the property. You will own the property. However, if the borrower redeems the property within that time period, then there's hardly anything that you can do.

Thanks
