If I let my home go into forclosure who is responsible for the property taxes? and for how long? What about if I were to abandon the property?

Hi vhast,

Once the property is foreclosed and sold off to a new owner, he or she becomes liable for the property taxes. If you abandon the property, then you will be responsible for paying the property taxes unless the lenders sells it off at a foreclosure auction.
