It has a house on the acre of land but is not livable. It has a well and septic tank and across from a golf course and next to a lake. We just purchased a home and would like to borrow 6000 so we can pay off several small loans and credit card. The tax value on land is 6200 and with the house 19.500. If there is no other liens on the property, then you can contact the local lenders and apply for a mortgage. Your local lenders will go through your financial situation and check your credit report and let you know whether or not you can get a mortgage for the property.
