My mother is elderly and wants to add me to her deed. I have POA and am executor of her small estate. She doesn't want me to have to go through probate. How do we go about doing this? Is every state different? Can just a tittle company do it or do we need to go to an attorney?

Hi Dewa!

Welcome to forums!

If the property is free and clear, then your mother can sign a warranty deed and add your name to the property. Nevertheless, it is always a better idea to contact a real estate attorney and take his help in adding your name to the property deed.

Feel free to ask if you've further queries.
