the land i own is paid in full and worth about 12,000. and i just need 5,000. can you help me?

You can take out a equity loan on your property. You should contact the local lenders and apply for a mortgage. However, this community has a large number of lenders. You can seek a no obligation free mortgage quote from them and check out if they can help you with a loan.
