I have a townhouse in Arizona that I am going to lose to foreclosure soon. I read the Arizona statutes relating to anti-deficiency applies to properties less than 2.5 acres and only one or two family dwellings.

Can you tell me if this means that the anti-deficiency statute does not apply to my townhouse mortgage?

Hi

As far as I'm aware of, the Arizona anti-deficiency statutes are applicable to townhouses and condos that are less than 2.5 acres and that are used as dwelling. You can also check it with a local lawyer whether the statutes apply in your situation.
