Father lives in MI. We would like to do this without the cost of a lawyer if possible! Can we just download a quit claim form, have his sign and notarize in MI, mail to us in AZ, we can sign and notarize, and file with the county? Also, the deed needs to be recorded at the county recorder's office where the property is based.
