Hello All:

I have 3 seperate single acre parcels in AZ (Maricopa County) that i need to transfer to my sister. I am the only one currently on the title. We both reside in Pennsylvania.

Does anyone know the best way to go about this.

My research suggests doing a 1 on 1 quit claim deed from me to my sister. Is this how the title gets transferred? Is there anything else that needs to be done?

Also, i read somewhere the documents have to be notorized in Az. Does anyone know the best way to get this accomplished (when i say best... i mean least expensive!).

Thank you very much in advance for your replies.

You can transfer the properties to your sister with the help of quitclaim deed. As there are 3 separate properties, you will have to file three quitclaim deeds. It is true that the quitclaim deed needs to be notarized and recorded at the county recorder's office. You will have to contact the county recorder's office and they would be able to tell you about the charges.
