I filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy and it was discharged in Jan 09. I am now looking at foreclosure for a 1st and 2nd mortgage. In Az with it;s Ati-deficiency laws - could the 1st or 2nd mortgage company garnish my wages for payment

Hi bostongirl,

As far as I know, wage garnishment is allowed in Arizona. But the lenders can do that only after they have obtained a judgment against you. The state also has certain anti-deficiency laws. If these laws are applicable to your situation, the lender cannot obtain any judgment against you.
