We recently bid and won a home from HUD. We were approved and awaiting closing through the now defunct Taylor, Bean. HUD messed up on the contract and postponed us by 3 weeks. If they hadn't, we would of closed before the lender got shut down. It is a manufactured home on an acre. It is on a semi permanent foundation with a permanent addition attached to the back. We're in need of financing so we can keep this home. All I keep hearing is, there is no one in Arizona that can finance HUD manufactured homes anymore. How can this be? What happens to all their homes for sale now? Surely there must be some way we can keep (our) home. Thanks for your advice, help.

As far as I know, finance is available for HUD manufactured homes in Arizona. You can apply for Title 1 loans with your lender in order to get a mortgage or refinance your mobile home. However, the property should be your primary residence. You can also contact the retailers who sell mobile homes. They can also help you in getting a loan. You can even speak to the lenders of this community and seek a no obligation free mortgage quote. This will help you in knowing what type of rates and terms you would receive from the lenders. _________________ Good is the Enemy of Great. |

I've been looking into it, but as of yet, have found no solutions. My realter told me that Taylor, Bean was the only one left in AZ that would do manufactured home loans. But, I'll try the manufacturers.
