I inherited a doublewide mobile home in a senior (55+) park in Arizona. I am trying to sell it (after making many cosmetic but costly improvements). My question: Does any bank or company still make loans? I received an offer from a couple, and they tell me they cannot get even a secured personal loan. They told me they have $35,000; I am asking $39,900. (I already lowered it $15,000). All they need is another $5,000. If they could get a regular loan, they could put half (or more) down. I do not wish to carry the loan papers; I need a clean break.

Hi

I think you can get an FHA insured Title I loan. That seems to be a good option for you.

Hi

The issue seems to be realy complicated. I think you've taken the right decision in consulting a lawyer as he is the best person to help you in resolving this issue.

Thanks to "Guest" for the response. Does anyone have a suggestion for finding out about such loans? Thanks.

Hi Sioux,

To get FHA Title 1 loans, you need to contact FHA lenders and check out if you can qualify for such loans or not. You can also contact the lenders of this community and seek a no obligation free consultation. This will give you an idea about the type of rates and terms you can get. You'll come to know about the current market rates as well.
