Welcome bc42maui,

If your name is mentioned on the mortgage docs, then you would be responsible for the deficient balance after the foreclosure. Also, your credit scores would get affected and lowered by 250 points. The foreclosure will remain as a negative item on your credit report for the next 7 years.
