HELP
Our Association is trying to get a deed for a cemetery in Arkansas that we are taking care of. In our research we found that it was donated March 28,1888 but there was never a deed filed for it. Right now on the tax records that cemetery owns the cemetery. So how do we go about getting a deed for it. I have contacted the Circuit Clerk, the County Clerk and Quorum Court. No one can tell me how to do this and we can't afford a lawyer. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your help.

Hi flwillingham,

Since the orginal owner is deceased long ago and no deed has been filed, I don't think filing a deed now would be possible. However, if you can consult an attorney, he/she might be able to guide you the best in this regard.

Thanks,

Jerry
