Will the lender consider modification, I was never asked to sign affirmation . Chase says i cannot do it now. To consider modification could c hase say i need affirmation craig

As you haven't reaffirmed the mortgage, you're not personally liable for the mortgage payments. Like 0 Dislike 0 Yeah, I have to agree with what adonis said. It is really important to make reaffirmation. craig Guest	Posted: Fri Aug 12, 2011 9:35 am    Post subject: after bankruptcy will bank modify Like 0 Dislike 0 I contacted my bankruptcy attorney, he said he checked off the box , or stated that we wished to reaffirm chase mtg in the bankruptcy papers. He said it was up to Chase to send him a form. They never did. The attorney said that if they did send it the judge would not let us reaffirm because our expenses were to much. We have 5 adopted kids. Will they ever give me a modification.
