I am a disabled vet n my mortgage is 1625 my monthly benefits are less than my mortgage. I am unemployed n would like to file chapter 13 to keep my home but I'm trying to figure out if I will be able to afford the repayment plan. Will I have to make my original monthly payment n more to be consider qualified for this plan or will my monthly payments adjust to What I can afford which is probably going to be significantly less then what it is now. Monthly income is 1293

As far as I know, the payment plan that you get after filing Chapter 13 will depend upon what you can afford. Nevertheless, you should speak to a bankruptcy attorney and take his opinion in this regard.
