What are the federal tax ramifications for filing Ch. 7?

If I qualify to file Ch. 7, I am wondering how my federal taxes will change.

Hi gschattl! Welcome to forums! As far as I know, filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy is not a tax event. It will not lead to less or more income taxes by filing bankruptcy. Feel free to ask if you have further queries. Sussane
