Guest	Posted: Sat Aug 15, 2009 12:29 pm    Post subject: Transfered cars to my kids and want to file ch7 Like 0 Dislike 0 I transfered my kids cars into their names a year ago and we need to file chapter 7 will the trustee come after their cars? We paid cash for the cars, one car 5 years ago (he just traded it in and is financeing another car on his owen) the second car we bought 3 years ago.

As the cars were transferred to you kids about an year ago, I don't think the trustee would come after them. However, you should contact your bankruptcy attorney and take his opinion in this regard.
