Will discharged bankruptcy have a chance to be approved in loan modification?

I filed bankruptcy in 2009 and was discharged 2010. I plan to file loan modification with Chase. Do I have a chance to be approved. I have sss, just started unemployment benefit, a monthly pension of $131). Thanks for any advice.

What type of bankruptcy did you file? If you filed Chapter 7 and reaffirmed your mortgage, then you will be able to qualify for a loan modification.
