i have already applied for bankruptcy and my case is discharge last march 11 i was paying on my auto loan then i got behind i bought in 2007 aug and i was paying 335 per month and the ineterest rate was 7.5 i already paid 12060 they impounded my car now the say if you want pay 13000 more so we can release your car as a full and final payment i have offered them 10000 they refuse they say you dont have any option but we will auction the car and the rest of the amount we will go after cosigner what should i do

You can pay off the said amount and release your car. This would be a better option rather than letting the creditor to auction it. Moreover, this auction will have a negative affect on your credit report as well as your co-signer's credit report.
