Can a City Court hold you liable for dumping...on a property if you included it in a Chapter 7?
Mortgage company acknowleges the 7 but has not filed final papers for foreclosure...
City of Atlanta says you still responsible for clearn up..future dumping, etc...

Hi tabmgt,

Unless the foreclosure takes place, you will remain the owner of the property. In such a situation, you'll be liable for the maintenance of the property. If you don't do so, then the City court will be able to come after you.

Thanks
