Hi Rush,
Welcome to the forum.
I'd like to ask if at all you're comfortable making a monthly payment on your credit cards? If yes, only then you should go for a debt consolidation. However, if you'd like to reduce the outstanding debt balance, then settlement would be the right option for you. It depends on how much you can afford to pay. For that, you'll have to calculate the total debt amount.
You aren't receiving much through the unemployment benefits. It won't be enough to help you pay your debts. Have a looked out for a part time job? Even that can help you at this moment.
I don't think you should file bankruptcy. If you file chapter 7, there's the risk of losing your home, though there are exemptions. And, if you file chapter 13, you still need to make a monthly payment. Again everything comes to one question - will you be able to afford any payment with what you're receiving right now?
May god bless you.
