My mom filed for bankruptcy in 2005, that was fine this was her choice.. bt then a year later when she owned a condominium that was aquired through a basically con artist real estate agent, she wasnt able to pay for it because the payments were to high so she stopped paying for it and was just going to let it go. That same agent kept on insisting that he could do something to help her not loose it. One day he went to her work and took her out to go sign some papers promising that this would help her not loose the house, come to find out now he had made her sign bankruptcy papers! Now it shows on her credit file that she has two, one in 2005 and another in 2006. What can we do to delete that from her file since she was deceived?

Hello Valjs073

You must go through the court and trustee. They must approve your new debt. Yes, it must make since (lower rate, payment etc.)
