My case was dismissed because I could not make the payments that was originally agreed upon. I was unemployed and contacted my lawyer and got a stay until I had a job. The new job did not pay as much but the trustee doubled my payments and I could not make them.
My only asset is a car that has been paid off. Can my creditors place a lien against it or take it for payment?

Welcome Geomiss,
If your bankruptcy has been dismissed, then the lenders/creditors have the rights to come after you in order to recover the dues. If your car is free and clear, then the lenders/creditors can place a lien on it.
