Posted on: 09th Jun, 2010 02:05 pm
I FILED CHAPTER 7 ON JUNE 2ND 2003 THEN FILED CHAPTER 7 AGAIN ON APRIL 6 2010. A TRUSTEE HAS SAID I DIDNT WAIT THE 8 YEARS BEFORE FILEING AGAIN NOW HE WANTS MY PENDING CASE DISMISSED. PLEASE ADVISE ME ON WHAT I CAN DO TO GET MY CHAPTER 7 DISCHARGED ANY WAYS..
Hi randybishop,

In order to re-file Chapter 7, you need to wait for 8 years since your previous filing. As you've re-filed the bankruptcy before completing 8 years, your case will be dismissed. You won't be able to get a discharge in this case.
