I was discharged in December of 2009 didn't reaffirm debt never saw a judge but continued to try to work out with NACA a long term solution. this hasn't worked and now I am getting letters from Chase saying that saying I don't apply for certain programs and letters from mortgage people saying I am in foreclosure. Not sure what to do. Haven't paid mortgage in about 15months. should we just leave the home now.I haven't spoken to any one since I tried with NACA and Chase and they(Chase) just said we will call you.Never did. What kind of financial problems are looming for me. I have been unemployed for 3 years which started this cycle.

You should check out your bankruptcy papers or contact your bankruptcy attorney in order to find out whether or not you've reaffirmed your mortgage. If you haven't reaffirmed the mortgage, then the lender can foreclose the property but you won't be liable for paying any deficient balance resulting from the property sale to the lender.

Thanks ,He wasn't involved in the re-aff signed papers stating I was without Attorney from that point forward, so I beleive I am not liable because I didn't see a judge.
