Married filing jointly. We had a chapter 7 discharge in 2009.
Received 1099A from the lender for 2010. What amount on 1099A should we include and where (In Total earnings or a different form). We are very confused. What are the sequence of entries on the Tax forms. Please advise
Thanks

Welcome Guest,

You should contact a tax adviser/CPA and take his opinion in filing the tax forms. He will go through the documents and let you know how you can file the forms.
