We filed bankruptcy 2 years ago. My husband works & I am a stay home mom. I have been in charge of the bills. Last year, i had major back surgery. Since then I have been physically and mentally exhausted and stressed. I forgot to pay a house note. If i am 30 days late, they can automatically take my house. When i realized that a payment was not paid, I paid it on Monday and Saturday, I received a letter saying that i had renig on our agreement. This was not done on purpose.
What are my options. Please someone help me.
thanks anna |

Hi,
What type of bankruptcy did you file? Chapter 7 or 13? Have you been discharged from bankruptcy? If you've been discharged from chapter 7 bankruptcy, did you reaffirm the mortgage?
If you are only 30 days behind on your mortgage, you need to talk to your lender and express your intention of paying off the mortgage. Make the payments on time and catch up with the late payments as soon as possible. What kind of letter have you received from the lender? Does it express their intention of foreclosing on the property? |

How can you say that is not under BK?
speak with mortgage lender & try for loan modification. |
