If a lien has been placed on your home and is in second lien position, do you have to reaffirm that debt to keep the home, or do you just have to reaffirm the first lien to keep the home?

Hi Guest,

You will have to reaffirm both the debts in order to save the property. If you do not reaffirm the second lien, you would still have to pay it off to save your property. If you do not pay it, the lender has the right to foreclose the property.

Thanks
