We’re happy to inform you that George M Akerley, one of the mentors of MortgageFit Community has crossed the 10,000 mark! He is the first in our forums to have more than 10,000 posts.

Since 2007, George has been participating in the forums and helping posters who take part in the forums. With his knowledge and experience, he has always tried his best to help people with the needed mortgage and financial advice.

George M Akerley is now the moderator of both Mortgage Know-How Forum and Loan Talk for First Time Home Buyers Forum and has been given the rank of “Community Mentor“. We hope that posters would get further valuable advice which will help them in coming out of their mortgage/financial problems, George. It’s my pleasure to inform you that we’ve introduced a new look for MortgageFit to ensure a user-friendly online experience for visitors and members. We have simplified our navigation and highlighted various sections which would make it easier for the users to access information from the website.

The various sections on the homepage like - Mortgage Quote, Calculators, Forums, Ask Question and Lenders have been highlighted and given a new look. Apart from this, it has now become easier to navigate the forum section as it comes along with a drop-down menu. So, you can easily choose a category wherein you plan to post your query or participate in discussions.

We’ve shifted and highlighted the search option at the top right corner of our homepage. Members can search information regarding various topics using this option. The new look will also give the users an easy access to the Members Area which helps users to login as a members or join the Community and enjoy the benefits of being a member.

The makeover comes along with a new section - National Average Weekly Mortgage Rate has also been highlighted on the homepage. Members will be able to check out the current mortgage rates as well as last week’s rate. This section will further take you to a graphical representation of the mortgage rates.

The “Ask the Community ” section has been made more prominent in home page, thus making it more visible to the members.

At the right hand side of the homepage, we have highlighted various sections of our website including MortgageFit Blog wherein you can find the recent happenings in the community as well as financial information.

Here’s something exciting that I’d like to share with you - MortgageFit Community has exceeded 28000 members!

Ever since we started off, the community has been growing with a number of professionals and common people joining and participating in the community activities. There are professionals from the mortgage as well as related industry like the credit and appraisal industry. Members like Gmakerly , Kim Patrick , Chris Burns etc are from the mortgage industry whereas Robert Banker is associated with the credit industry.

Moreover, our community has professionals like Jheard from the law industry. While the mortgage professionals have helped people with mortgage help and advice, Jheard has contributed towards assisting people in their property and deed related issues.

There’s a lot of interaction between the lenders and common people in our community forums. The forums provide for a platform wherein people can freely talk to lenders/experts on any financial or property issues. Other than the forums, the community members also interact with each other through private messages, quick message and mails. This brings in a sense of togetherness amongst the members.

So far, our members are satisfied with the way our community has been helping them – something which is evident from our testimonial section wherein people have shared their feedback. Let’s hope that our association will continue and more and more members will be a part of our community.
