David Leece is a senior lecturer in Business Economics and Finance in Dept. of Management, University of Keele.
Basically his main interest of research has been in the economics of housing & mortgage markets in addition to business economics.
I have read other books on mortgage market economics by David Leece and but haven't read this one, looking forward to purchasing in a few days.

Yes David, the book is worth reading. It explains that mortgage choice for consumers cannot be separately studied from the housing finance system and the overall economics, of which they are a part. Among other topics the book thus examines some important policy & institutional differences between markets.
