my mother passed away 81110 she had a reverse mortgage fo 6ys and was on dialysis no will i am the admistrator living in the house the medicaid said today they are going to superior court to put a lien on the estate the reverse mortgage want they money of 300,00.00 can i refinance the mortgage if i want to stay in the house or will the LIEN prevent me from taking out a loan or MEDICAID force me to Vacate i have no where to go i dont know what to do please help

Welcome to forums!

If the lien is already placed on the property, then it will be difficult for you to get a mortgage refinance. Unless the lien is paid off, none of the lenders will be ready to refinance.
