in the first place, catharin; this is not a forum in which we discuss budgets for companies. this is a consumer forum. the term "budget" as it applies to this forum is strictly meant as a consumer tool.

you ought to be able to recognize, in a forum entitled "Loan Talk for First Time Home Buyers," that listing supposed disadvantages to a budget - as it only pertains to businesses - is pure folly.

if you've got business-related information to provide to people that is actually worthwhile, i suggest you find a forum that is suitable for businesses and not consumers. i don't find any value to your post for the consumers who are seeking information about how they can best prepare themselves for the adventure of purchasing a home for the first time.
